Animated spinner camera viewing methods
Easy Cell Phone Viewing Instructions
1. Go outside into bright sunlight. This is the most important step. This will not work well inside.
2. Open up your favorite social media app. (Tik Tok, Instagram and Twitter work great)
3. Give your spinner a good spin (not crazy full force or anything as the animation works best as the spinner slows down) and wait for it to get to a speed when the animation becomes clear. At this point you can press record to capture your spinner videos.

Advanced Recording Options
Android ProCam Instructions
The best app we have found on android is ProCam Lite which you can download below.
1. Make sure you are under a bright light or sunlight.
2. The main setting you need to change is to the shutter S button in the bottom right corner of the app. Change this to over 1/1000. If you need more brightness, you can turn the ISO setting up.
3. Give your spinner a good spin (not crazy full force or anything as the animation works best as the spinner slows down) and wait for it to get to a speed when the animation becomes clear. At this point you can press record to capture your spinner videos.

Apple Pro Movie Instructions
The best app we have found on android is Pro Movie which you can download below.
1. Make sure you are under a bright light or sunlight.
2. The main setting you need to change is to the shutter button in the bottom row of the app. Change this to over 1000 .
3. The other important setting to change for a smooth animation is the Framerate on the left side of the app. This works best at 24 fps.
4. Give your spinner a good spin (not crazy full force or anything as the animation works best as the spinner slows down) and wait for it to get to a speed when the animation becomes clear. At this point you can press record to capture your spinner videos.

Samsung Pro video Settings
If you own a Samsung Galaxy phone, I highly suggest you use the built in pro video mode to record your spinner videos. This is the way I record all of my videos and it is honestly the cleanest method I have found for recording.
1. Make sure you are under a bright light or sunlight.
2. Open your stock camera app within your phone.
3. Click the more button on the bottom right.
4. Open up pro video.
5. Make sure you adjust the frame rate setting on the top right of the app to 24fps either in HD or UHD.
6. Adjust the speed setting on the bottom left to above 1/1000. (Anything above this will work, but you will need brighter lights and a higher iso if you go too high)
7. Adjust the ISO on the bottom left until you have desired lighting. This will depend on your lighting setup on where the number will need to be. (For the cleanest non grainy video a lower number will work better.)
8. Give your spinner a good spin (not crazy full force or anything as the animation works best as the spinner slows down) and wait for it to get to a speed when the animation becomes clear. At this point you can press record to capture your spinner videos.
